Give loved gifts (especially on birthdays), talk to the character daily, and complete their requests. A loved birthday gift gives 8x the normal friendship points.

Romance in Fields of Mistria — How It Works

Fields of Mistria has 11 romanceable characters: 6 bachelorettes and 5 bachelors. In the 1.0 update, marriage is finally here — you can propose with a handcrafted engagement ring (crafted, not bought!) and marry your chosen partner in a wedding ceremony.

Romance progresses through friendship levels (hearts). Raise friendship by giving gifts, chatting daily and completing requests. Higher heart levels unlock unique heart events and eventually romance.
